Latchis Hotel Parking Lot
- Located behind the hotel and theatre, clearly indicated, on Flat Street, space is limited
- Space is on a first-come-first-park basis, space is not guaranteed
- Parking is FREE of charge for registered Latchis Hotel Guests in the indicated Latchis Hotel Parking Lot
- One space per room, so others may park please
- Parking cannot be reserved, sorry
- Kindly avoid parking longer or larger vehicles in the lot, thank you
Curbside Loading And Unloading
We offer a 15-minute curbside courtesy area for registered guests right outside our Flat Street side guest entrance for your convenience. This provides easy hotel access for personal baggage items and guest pick up and drop off.
I Need Assistance
If you need assistance with your unloading or loading or with passengers that may need physical assistance from vehicle to hotel, please call ahead (802-254-6300) and request this service. We will be sure to be looking for you to pull up and meet you at the curb.
An updated ETA is always helpful if you can contact us when you are arriving in Brattleboro.
Large And Long Vehicles
If you are driving a larger or longer vehicle, crew cab truck or large SUV, then we advise that you avoid parking in our tight lot and use the public lots for better maneuverability. Please be considerate to other guests and drivers.

Adjacent to the Latchis parking lot are two public parking facilities (pay and display); the Preston Lot (05302) & the Transportation Center Parking Garage (05303).

Pay & Display: MONDAY — SUNDAY from 9AM to 6PM
– Preston Lot & Flat Street (05302) – $0.75 for 30 mins | $1.50 for 1 hour | Max of 3 hours at a time.
– Transportation Center Parking Garage (05303) – $0.30 for 30 mins | $0.55 for 1 hour | Max of 10 hours at a time.
We do not recommend parking on Flat Street overnight. If there aren’t parking spaces available in the Latchis Lot, please use the Preston Lot or the Transportation Center for overnight parking.
Winter Parking Ban in Town Owned Lots
The Town of Brattleboro’s annual winter parking ban will go into effect on Saturday November 15, 2025, and will remain in effect through April 15, 2026. The ban is in place regardless of weather conditions.
– Per Ordinance Sec. 16-93: Parking is prohibited on all public streets in Brattleboro between 12 and 7 a.m. Vehicles found in violation may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. The Transportation Center and other designated municipal lots remain available for overnight parking unless otherwise posted.
– Per Ordinance Sec. 16-94: It shall be unlawful for a vehicle to park in a way that blocks or hinders snow plowing or snow removal operations. Any vehicle that interferes with the Department of Public Works’ ability to clear the streets is subject to citation and removal.
– Per Ordinance Sec. 16-96: After a snowfall that requires clean up, residents may park in the covered area of the Transportation Center. Overflow parking is allowed in the Preston Lot, but vehicles there must be moved by 8 a.m.
When AMBER lights are flashing, all uncovered municipal lots are closed for snow removal from 12:01 to 7 a.m., and vehicles left there will be ticketed and towed.
When PURPLE lights are flashing downtown, no street parking is allowed in the Downtown District from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. to allow for snow removal. Vehicles left on downtown streets during this time will be ticketed and towed.
